Casper
Casper is an interactive web application that visualises (live) aircraft movements. It provides the possibility for replay, pause, fast forward and showing tracks, labels and a heat map. The map can be zoomed and panned. Casper can be used to inform the community around the airport or for stakeholders at the airport. Daisy
Daisy is a traffic management tool. The tool is used for prognosis, analysis and monitoring of ATM and airport operations in the area of noise. Daisy is a valuable management support tool for ATM organizations, airports, airlines and governments. Daisy supports both the dutch noise calculation as well as INM and be configured for any airport. More information on Daisy can be found on the Daisy page of our website or watch the demo. Daisy is used by Schiphol Airport, ATC the Netherlands, NLR and some consultancy companies.
InspectorGadget
A pilot was done for the dutch Transport and Water Management Inspectorate with a mobile inspection application. The inspectors used a laptop or PDA to have all the necessary information needed during inspection accesible through one interface. This includes the results from previous inspections, certifications and live flight information. Inspectors or managers could be informed with subscription services through email or SMS.
BAS
For Schiphol airport Frontier has developed a registration system for complaints about aircraft noise. Besides the registration of the complaint the relevant aircraft is found and other circumstantial information is gathered like weather and runway usage for analysis purposes. Complaints can be entered through the web for clients or by employees of BAS. The application can be found at www.bezoekbas.nl
MDGScan
The Millennium Development Goals Scan is a tool designed for companies to estimate the extent to which they positively contribute to the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Companies must register to be able to use the MDG Scan. The MDG Scan measures each company's MDG impact by entering key data in a secured environment. Once the company approves the publication of their results, they will be visible for everyone. Watch the application at www.mdgscan.com
IMF
For MappingWorlds a project is done for the IMF, called the data mapper. A number of economic indicators are presented for all the countries in different ways like a map, a interactive line chart and a bubble chart. Watch the application at www.imf.org
ReSAKKS
For MappingWorlds a project is done for ReSAKKS (Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System), developing a provide website with data, information and tools to promote evidence-based decisionmaking and improve awareness of the role of agriculture for development in Africa. The website contains an interactive map and line chart for a number of indicators for African countries. Further it contains detailed information about the countries, like articles, publications, progress. Watch the website at www.resakss.org
